The mechanics of recruiting creatures have completely changed. Now our small friends are called up with the help of cubes falling out of special generators. They are four colors, which corresponds to the types of minions: brown are designed for a frontal attack, red-exploding kamikaze, green beat the enemy from behind, and the blue are always ready to heal you. In addition to the latter, everyone is completely useless in battle. They apply very little damage, and independently deal with opponents, as we have already said, it is not difficult.

We can strengthen the hero for resources, buy new weapons, improve minions and purchase hats. Everything happens quite linearly – there is no unique “customization” at all. It is also annoying that all four points of improvement are at different points of our fortress, so, making “upgrades”, you need to kill for a while to run from one of them to the other. But it was possible to combine all the possibilities in one point ..

The developers, justifying before the fans due to the change of concept, claimed that the new Overlord – This is an experiment. Only now it’s not completely clear what he was put on. If the authors wanted to know what will happen if you create a hundred bugs, and then pour them with a mixture of dull gameplay, yesterday’s graphics and disgusting artificial intelligence, then it was not necessary to involve users in this experiment.
